Summary
// Enlightenment is about trying something new for me. This project is an exploration of new shooting and editing techniques which pushed my boundaries as a photographer and designer. We (Models Jason Tran and Kaitlynn Altmayer, and myself) set out on a fall evening to capture some photos in low light. Shooting very underexposed in these environments allowed for a very soft and warm look after editing.
Capturing a feeling
// The final look reminds me of fall leaves, a warm fire, the first snowfall, and the temperament of the weather around this time. The series of images inspires the feelings of self-reflection, ambivalence, and contemplation which can come with changing seasons.
